Justin Hartley is taking it to the next level with his new girlfriend, Sofia Pernas, by going Instagram official just days after his divorce with Chrishell Stause played out on “Selling Sunset.” The 43-year-old “This Is Us” star was first linked to his “Young and the Restless” co-star back in May and their romance is still going strong because the star appeared on Pernas’ social media over the weekend. On Friday, August 7, fans watched season three of “Selling Sunset” where Chrishell Stause spilled several details on their divorce.
Mid-season Stause broke down crying, revealing that Justin Hartley filed for divorce and claiming he told her via text message. Chrishell alleged she was blindsided with the news and while most of her co-stars had her back, her archenemy Christine Quinn questioned whether she was sharing the whole truth.
Justin Hartley is reportedly “irritated” at his estranged wife for how she portrayed their split but he has a beautiful distraction. Over the weekend while his divorce played out on Netflix, he was relaxing with his 31-year-old bombshell.
On Sunday, August 9, Sofia Pernas took to her Instagram Story to share a cryptic snap of a man leaning on a marble countertop with an iced cold drink and a cigar in his hand. In the background, the actor’s favorite baseball cap can be seen. “Easy like Sunday mornin,'” the 31-year-old actress captioned the mysterious shot. While many assumed it was Justin Hartley, he later confirmed it when he posted his own shot and jacked his lady’s caption.
Sharing a snap showing himself soaking up the sunshine in a pool wearing the same hat and holding onto his beloved pup, Justin Hartley wrote an almost identical caption to his shot.
In May, the duo was caught sharing a sweet kiss. Justin Hartley met Sofia Pernas years ago when they worked on “Young and the Restless” together. Interestingly enough, they played love interests on the show and his ex, Chrishell Stause, was also an actress on the series.
Justin Hartley filed for divorce from the “Selling Sunset” star in November. Season three showed Chrishell’s side of the story but not everyone is buying what she’s selling. Besides Christine Quinn, Davina Potratz also raised questions about Stause’s portrayal.
