Justin Bieber has been slapped with a tax lien over money the government says it is owed for two of his previous tours.

According to documents, obtained by The Blast, the Franchise Tax Board of the State of California filed a tax lien on October 15, 2019, against 'Bieber Time Touring' the company the singer uses for his tour earnings. The tax board is accusing the Biebs of owing thousands of dollars in back taxes.

According to the tax lien, the singer owes back taxes from the taxable years of 2012 and 2016. But, the good news for Bieber is the amount owed is only $3,711.93.

The taxable years' timing makes sense since Justin went of his two previous tours during that time period. In 2012, Bieber embarked on the "Believe" tour in September of 2012 and the 'Purpose' World tour started in March of 2016.

Let's be honest, Justin Bieber is one of the wealthiest young musicians in the game, so someone on his team will most likely just stroke a check to the government to pay back the debt. Plus, we are guessing Justin doesn't fill out his own taxes so someone is getting a phone call on this one.

Plus, here is the math: the government says it's owed taxes from the two previous tours. The tours made $210 Million on the first one, and over $256 Million on the second.

We are guessing the few grand he owes the government, may have just fallen in between the seats! But, before he goes on tour again, he needs to clear up the tax issue.

Justin Bieber has dropped his newest single 'Yummy' which had skyrocketed up the music charts, and he is also going on another massive tour.

Bieber dropped his new single 'Yummy' which he says will be featured on his newest album which will drop later this year. "I feel like this is different than the previous albums just because of where I'm at in my life," JB said of the new record.

Also, JB announced he is about to embark on a nearly 50-city tour that kicks off on May 14 in Seattle. The tour ends at the end of the summer in New Jersey. So, again, he can send uncle sam a check from the money he makes in the first few minutes he makes in Seattle.

Now, to find the person who didn't pay that bill!
