Did Justin Bieber's Mom Troll Selena Gomez On Hailey's Birthday?

Justin Bieber's mom is being accused of trolling his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, with her birthday message to her daughter-in-law, Hailey Bieber. Fans weren't happy with Pattie Mallette's Instagram tribute she shared for the fashion model's 23rd birthday on Friday. It wasn't the selfie she posted showing herself with Justin Bieber's wife that fans took an issue with, but the caption she chose to include which fans said seemingly appeared to take a swipe at the "Lose You To Love Me" singer.
In the adorable photo, Pattie and Hailey's heads are touching while pink lights beam down on their faces. "HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY TO MY FAVORITE DAUGHTER EVER‼️??" Justin's mom picked for the caption. While Hailey appeared to appreciate the post and replied, "Love you soooo much ?❤️❤️❤️," others did not and immediately began filling up Pattie's post with comments about Selena Gomez. "What's your favorite thing about @selena gomez?" one follower asked. "'Your favorite daughter ever' HAHAHAHAHAAH that's so pathetic now," wrote another. "@selenagomez is 1000 prettier than fake @haileybieber," added a third follower. Not everyone was hating on Pattie for her daughter-in-law's post though and several Bieber fans stood up for his mama.
"Hailey is her family, not Selena. Why u still cry about that?" one Belieber stated. "You are just being biased right now because it's not your fav girl that was in the last. Let it go you should be happy Justin is happy," added another. "OMG stop! Selena isn't in Justin's life anymore get over it," commented someone else. While fans are going back and forth on whether Pattie meant that as a dig at Selena Gomez, she seemingly took to Twitter to address the situation with a Bible verse. Despite the little Selena hiccup, Hailey Bieber's birthday went on without a hitch. After traveling for several days, the model made it home to Los Angeles to celebrate with her husband for a beachside lunch in Malibu and a low-key dinner at home. Justin captured several moments from his wife's special day which included dozens of flower arrangements, a “23” cake, and a personalized bottle of Justin wine. "Nothin I want more,” Hailey captioned a photo showing the couple's chill dinner, which included salmon and tons of vegetables. She added that this was her “best birthday" ever. As The Blast reported, Justin Bieber shared a birthday tribute to his wife that revealed a lot more than just how much he adores her. Sharing two sweet snaps from their September wedding celebration, he told his 122 million Instagram followers that there will be a baby Bieber in the new year! "Happy birthday babes! You make me want to be better everyday! The way you live you life is so attractive.. ps you turn me on in every way ???? next season BABIES," he wrote. Justin's been catching baby fever lately and was just photographed practicing daddy duties while out with friends.
