Julia Roberts and 50 Cent Among Celebs Slated for Stars on Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2020

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is about to get a little bigger as the selection committee announced 35 new stars are about to be added.

Chosen from hundreds of nominees during a selection meeting in June, the newest inductees come from the entertainment industry, including television, live theater, radio and film.

The announcement was made Friday by the Chamber of Commerce’s Walk of Fame Selection Committee.

Julia Roberts, 51, who won the Academy Award for "Erin Brokovich" in 2000 is among the list of 35 that will receive her star in 2020.

Spike Lee


Spike Lee is also amongst the stars who will finally be honored with a star on the Walk of Fame. He won an Oscar for best adaptive screenplay in 2019 for the film "BlacKkKlansman"

In the Motion Picture category: Mahershala Ali, Batman, Ruth E. Carter, Laurence Fishburne, and Lina Wertmuller.

In the Television category: Christina Applegate, Andy Cohen, Terry Crews, Harry Friedman, Kathie Lee Gifford, Nigel Lythgoe, Milo Ventimiglia, Burt Ward, Wendy Williams, Phil McGraw and a posthumous star for Andy Kaufman.

In the Recording category: Elvis Costello, Sir Lucian Grainge, Billy Idol, Alicia Keys, Andy Madadian, Mo Ostin, Bobby Rydell, Alejandro Sanz, Tanya Tucker and Muddy Waters.

In the Live Theater/Live Performance category: Billy Porter; and -in the Radio category: Susan Stamberg.
