Juice WRLD Died Of An Accidental Overdose Of Sizzurp And OxyCodone

Juice WRLD died from an accidental overdose of Oxycodone and codeine (sizzurp) -- this according to the coroner in Chicago.

According to results from the rapper's autopsy and toxicology report, authorities put out the following statement, "The Medical Examiner's Office has determined the cause and manner of death of 21-year-old Jarad A. Higgins. Higgins died as a result of oxycodone and codeine toxicity. The manner of death is accident."

As we reported, the rapper was pronounced dead after he collapsed inside a Chicago airport during a federal raid on his private jet.

Sizzurp And Percocet Killed 21-Year-Old Rap Star...

At the time, a spokesperson for the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said he died at 3:14 am at Advocate Christ Medical Center and "additional studies were required to establish the cause and manner of death."

Juice WRLD was traveling from Los Angeles to Chicago when federal agents raided his plane after it landed. Law enforcement officials confiscated 70 pounds of Marijuana and a bottle of codeine from the airplane.

According to reports, during the raid Juice WRLD swallowed a bunch of pills attempting to hide them from the federal agents. It seems, the action proved fatal. Witnesses on scene said he was taking a grip of Percocet when cops boarded the plane. Percocet contains a combination of acetaminophen and oxycodone.

The 21-year-old rapper is known for rapping about the use of Sizzurp which consists of drinking the cough syrup, Codeine. It's unclear if he was already consuming it on the plane, or if he drank it when law enforcement boarded his plane.

Juice's Mother Confirms He Suffered From Drug Abuse Issues

Juice WRLD's mother confirmed the young rapper had issues with drug abuse after his death. She said in a statement, "We loved Jarad with all of our hearts and cannot believe our time with him has been cut short. As he often addressed in his music and to his fans, Jarad battled with prescription drug dependency."

She added, “Addiction knows no boundaries and its impact goes way beyond the person fighting it. Jarad was a son, brother, grandson, friend and so much more to so many people who wanted more than anything to see him defeat addiction.”
