Amber Heard referred to Elon Musk as 'Rocketman' in text messages revealed in the defamation case the actress if facing against ex-husband Johnny Depp.
According to text messages, turned over by Amber Heard to Johnny Depp's legal team, in the ongoing case -- the 'Aquaman' actress texted with Musk on May 22, 2016 -- the day after she accused Depp of throwing a phone and striking her in the face.
The messages, obtained by The Mirror, details a conversation between the two celebrities and includes Elon's offer to supply Amber with '24/7 security' after becoming aware of the incident with Johnny Depp.

Musk says to Heard he remembers she 'talked about J being violent in the past' and wants her to know he will protect her from him.
As you know, several stories have surfaced about Elon Musk and Amber Heard having a relationship prior to the actress filing for divorce from Johnny Depp.
But, Elon has responded to the allegations several times, saying it is false. "I wish to confirm again that Amber and I only started going out about a month after her divorce filing. I don’t think I was ever even in the vicinity of Amber during their marriage!” the Telsa boss told The New York Post.

As we reported, Musk also tweeted at a Johnny Depp fan that the 'Pirates Of The Caribean' actor's "team" is the one pushing the narrative.
"JD’s team put out 'video evidence', but conveniently excluded the date stamp, as it was well after JD & AH had separated," he tweeted.
The text exchanged between the two becomes a key piece of evidence for Johnny Depp's position on the situation, given the fact that Musk and Heard obviously have some sort of relationship while she is still married. Although, it is unclear at this point if it was romantic.
According to the report, Amber Heard tells Elon Musk in the test messages she is 'filing for divorce' and a 'restraining order' against the actor the following day. The actress DID in fact file for both of these things during the next week.

As we reported, Johnny Depp's team issued a subpoena to Elon Musk, to attempt to have him testify to what he saw during the days following the alleged altercation. Depp's legal team says there is surveillance video of Musk entering Johnny Depp's apartment building around the same time.
Johnny Depp's attorney, Adam Waldman, tells The Blast, "Last week, Elon Musk publicly claimed his relationship with Amber Heard did not start until late June 2016. Why say late June? Because that date makes it appear he had no involvement with Ms Heard while she executed her May abuse hoax, and would carry Musk past the day she appeared with a battered eye and finger marks on her throat two weeks after Mr. Depp had left the country in early June."

He continued, "These texts, along with sworn testimony placing Musk at the scene, suggest a different story. Here was Ms. Heard’s itinerary the day these texts were sent to Rocketman - May 22, 2016 - just hours after she claimed Mr. Depp savagely beat her with phone and hands: in the morning, she met for 8 minutes with the building front desk officer, who testified her face, which was captured on CCTV with no visible bruises."
The defamation case in Virginia is still pending and appears to be heading to trial.
