Jhené Aiko's former tour manager claims he shelled out over $50,000 of his money at her behest to cover expenses while on tour and never got paid back ... so now he's suing.

According to a lawsuit obtained by The Blast, Joshua Williams says he was hired in October 2017 to be her road/tour manager.

During the tour, Williams claims Aiko — who has been dating Big Sean since 2016 — asked him to use his personal credit card and cash to pay for various expenses. He agreed to advance the money with the understanding she would pay him back.

Williams claims he racked up charges to the tune of $53,826.23 and was never paid back. He also claims he was never paid for his work ... another $16,000.

He's looking to get his money back, plus 10% interest and attorneys' fees.

Sources connected with Aiko tell The Blast Williams recently approached Aiko's team asking for money for alleged unpaid expenses but when her team asked for receipts, especially for the expensive purchases made, Williams was allegedly unable to produce proof. We're told Aiko's financial team suspects fraudulent purchases were made, and they are currently conducting an investigation into the matter.
