Jesse Williams Buys 'Grey’s Anatomy' Crew Ice Cream, Supports Good Cause

Jesse Williams bought the whole crew of “Grey’s Anatomy” a bunch of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, along with bringing attention to criminal justice reform.

The actor posted a series of videos and photos showing the ice cream cart on the set. The cart offered three options which included Ben & Jerry’s new flavor Justice ReMix’d, Cherry Garcia and Coconut Almond Fudge Chip.

Many of the cast including actor Jason George seemed to be enjoying the treat.

Earlier this month, Ben & Jerry’s released their new ice cream, Justice ReMix’d.

The company said, “America, our criminal justice system is broken. It’s racist. And it needs to be transformed. Introducing Justice ReMix’d. This new Limited Batch flavor will benefit Advancement Project National Office, a national civil rights organization that works with local grassroots activists to fight for racial equity and put an end to systemic racism. With its cinnamon and chocolate ice creams, overflowing with gobs of cinnamon bun dough and spicy fudge brownies, Justice ReMix’d is here to make sure everyone can enjoy the sweet taste of justice.”


The ice cream company announced their partnership saying, “We launched Justice ReMix’d in partnership with The Advancement Project National OfficeOpens a new window, a multi-racial civil rights organization that works with local grassroots organizers on racial justice issues. We believe justice should be for everyone, not just the white and wealthy. So we’re speaking out in the best way we know of — with a euphoric ice cream flavor — for an end to structural racism in our broken criminal legal system.”
