"Jersey Shore" star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was so concerned about the well-being his daughter after his baby mama smashed him in the face with an ashtray that he decided to leave cops out of the situation out of fear his daughter would be taken by authorities.
The Blast has obtained the police report the reality star filed days after Jen Harley allegedly bloodied him during a fight on New Year's Eve at the Hustler Club in Las Vegas.
According to the report, Ortiz handed over photos of his injuries, including cuts to the right side of his face and nose. He also allowed the police to take photos.
Ortiz did not file the report until days after the incident took place, and the "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" star told cops he did not call police after the incident because, "he did not know what would happen to his 9 month old daughter."
Sources close to the troubled couple tell The Blast throughout all the drama between the parents, the safety of their daughter, Ariana, is top of mind.
We're told Ortiz was worried involving the authorities would automatically trigger some sort of official involvement with his daughter, and did not want to risk losing the child.
To make matters more complicated, Ariana has actually witnessed her parents fight before, including when Harley was arrested after she fought with Ortiz while inside of a car.
As we reported, Ortiz is currently considered a person of interest to a home break-in after Harley claims he ransacked her house following their fight.
