As we reported, Ronnie was arrested by LAPD after an argument with the mother of his daughter, Jen Harley, turned violent after the couple had returned from an event.
Ronnie and Jen had rented a home in Los Angeles for a few days to attend the launch of Ronnie’s weed company.
Ortiz-Magro was originally arrested on charges of kidnapping after he allegedly hit Jen during the argument, all while holding their 18-month old daughter.
He is accused of taking the couple’s young daughter and locking himself and her inside of the rented home.
At the time, Jen told cops that Ronnie also brandished a knife during the altercation and that he was drunk and high on drugs during the episode.
Ronnie faces a year in jail for each misdemeanor charge, but he caught a bit of a break after the District Attorney in Los Angeles decided it did not reach the level to charge him with a felony. The case was sent to the City Attorney who filed the five misdemeanors charges.
After the incident, Harley was seen out with major bruising on her body, and injuries from the fight. The ‘Jersey Shore’ star had denied assaulting his GF and says he was defending himself against her aggressive behavior.
Ronnie is due back in court to face charges next month.
