The cast of "Jersey Shore" is so hungry for an Emmy, they'll sweat their butts off in hot weather just to get on the voters' radar.
Deena Nicole Cortese, Vinny Guadagnino, Mike Sorrentino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, and Pauly D pimped themselves out on Friday afternoon in Los Angeles, holding signs advertising their popular MTV show which read: "FYC ... Vote ... Jersey Shore ... Yes, We're Serious."
Pauly D even used a megaphone to shout at cars on the road and pedestrians to consider "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" for the prestigious award. It's worth noting, Snooki and JWoww were nowhere to be found.
While the signs were a nice touch, someone should school them on who they should actually be targeting if they're serious. The Emmy voters consist of members of the Television Academy who are considered experts in the industry ... not your average Joe who walks the Sunset Strip.
And just FYI, the reality show track record includes shows like "Survivor," "The Voice" and "Top Chef" — not even "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" has ever been nominated, but they've also never tried this technique.
We'll send ya good vibes, guys ?.
