Jermaine Jackson has been ordered to start paying his ex-wife temporary spousal support while they continue to hammer out the details of their divorce.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Jackson was ordered to pay Halima Rashid $2,500 per month in temporary spousal support, with half due on the first and 15th of every month.
Jackson was also ordered to pay retroactive support dating back to June 1, 2018, meaning he owes her another $10,000. The judge said Jackson can pay that back by shelling out $2,000 a month until he is paid in full.
The two sides are due in court for their divorce trial in December.
Jackson and Rashid were married in August of 2004 before she filed for divorce in June 2016. The former couple do not have any children together.
