Jenelle Evans unceremoniously lost her job with MTV after David Eason killed her dog, and they lost custody of their children, but now that she's calling it quits with her husband there's a chance she will reclaim her role as an official "Teen Mom."

Jenelle broke the news to fans on Thursday that she had decided to officially end things with David, and strongly implied that his violent behavior was the reason behind the breakup.

On Halloween, Jenelle delivered a real treat to fans when she announced that things were done with David.

"I've mostly kept off social media the past few days because I've been focused on making some big life decisions. I've life muy life on camera since I was 17 years old. And alot of it hasn't been pretty. But it's been my life."

"Like anyone else I want what's best for my kids and I want to be happy. With time away from Teen Mom I've started to look at my life differently and I know I need to make changes. I'm starting that now."

Jenelle explained were the status of her relationship with David is currently at.

"The kids and I have moved away from David. Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know thats what is best for me, and for my kid."

"Today I've filed papers to start that process. I appreciate the support from everybody who has asked how I am. Me and the kids are doing great. We need some time to be together. But you'll hear from us again soon."

Back in May, MTV made it very clear that they were done with Jenelle and had been done with David for some time already.

There were reports David had been aggressive with the production crews on "Teen Mom 2," and they weren't going to subject anybody for having to deal with him for fear of what may happen.

David was originally under investigation by officials in North Carolina after Jenelle had reported him for killing her french bulldog.

The Columbus County Sheriff's Office in Whiteville, North Carolina said in a statement that Jenelle, "advised that her husband, David Eason, threw the dog outside. She then advised that after David realized that the dog scratched their child, he went outside and shot the dog. During this conversation, Jenelle stated that she did hear a gunshot but did not witness the incident."

However, David was later cleared of charges after Jenelle claimed that the entire thing was a publicity stunt.

After he was cleared of charges, Eason later admitted that he did in fact kill the animal.

During an interview with PEOPLE, he finally admitted to the killing.

"The dog was aggressive. She might not be huge or whatever, but you know when a dog bites a child on the face more than one time, then it should never be around the child again."

Multiple reports now claim that Jenelle is trying to score a meeting with MTV execs and get herself back on "Teen Mom 2."

She had tried to resuscitate her defunct cosmetics line, but after that failed to really take off it's apparently clear that Jenelle misses her MTV paycheck.

Now that David is out of her life, Jenelle could possibly make a case for safely shooting with the crews, especially now that he has also copped to the murder of Nugget.

Seeing as MTV is also following Amber Portwood on her redemption story after getting arrested for domestic violence, it's not completely out of the question that we could see another round of coverage on Jenelle and her kids.
