What do they say about those who live in glass houses?
Hours after Portwood was arrested for felony domestic battery against her boyfriend, and baby daddy, Evans’ social media pages began to light up with posts about the arrest.
Posting multiple links to sites promoting Portwood’s incident, Evans then wrote, “All I have to say is at least I learn from my past mistakes.”
Fans did not take too kindly to her sentiment, and immediately began to remind the reality star she has stayed with her dog killing husband, David Eason, even when it cost her the couple’s children.
“Oh really? Is that why your kids were taken out of your care? You still put men before your kids,” one follower wrote.
Another advised, “Aren’t you still married to the guy who brutally murdered your dog and beats your kids? Lots of learning and growing on there let me tell you.”
Fans weren’t the only ones getting in on the action, because Evans’ former “Teen Mom” cohort, Cheyenne Floyd, also had something to say.
Jenelle should be the last person “throwing shade”.. hate when people kick a person when their down.”
Floyd said she usually stays out of the drama, but, “I am sorry that irritated me.”
The criticism didn’t seem to bother Evans, who only just got back custody of her children, as the reality star has continued to post sponsored links to stories about Portwood’s arrest.

However, not all Portwood’s former friends are being so harsh, as her baby daddy, Gary Shirley sent out a message of support.
Shirley, who just became a police officer in Indiana, wrote, “My prayers are with @AmberLPortwood, Andrew, & most importantly baby James,” he shared. “Idk any of the particulars, however I’m thinking of them.”
As for the daughter he shares with Portwood, Shirley wrote, “And for all the questions and concerns Leah was/is currently camping with her best friend.”
Shirley is the one person who may understand what the family is going through, as he was also a victim of Portwood’s back in the day when she assaulted him during a taping of “Teen Mom.”
He also appears to be close with Portwood’s boyfriend, as Andrew Glennon commented after Shirley was sworn in as a police officer, writing, “Huge success! Next Christmas presents is a giant Batlight with a G on it … But for real, be safe out there.”
As we reported, Glennon told a 911 operator his child’s life was in danger during the alleged fight with Portwood, and she ended up going to jail for felony domestic battery.
She’s due in court on Monday.
