Jeff Bezos went to one of the hottest restaurants in Hollywood after launching a rocket into space and became the richest man in modern history ... all in one week.

The Amazon chief was seen leaving Craig's Thursday night, one day after successfully launching and landing a capsule, dubbed 'New Shepard,' with his Blue Origin rocket company. The launch was the company's highest to date, reaching 74 miles up.

Along with the spaceflight, Bezos' net worth soared to $151 billion, putting him $56 billion ahead of Bill Gates and has made him the richest man since at least 1982.
