Jeff Bezos has just announced he will pledge $10 Billion of his own money to combat climate change on planet earth, but it was interesting timing following the 'Amazon' boss reportedly buying the most expensive house in Los Angeles.

"Today, I’m thrilled to announce I am launching the Bezos Earth Fund.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Climate change is the biggest threat to our planet. I want to work alongside others both to amplify known ways and to explore new ways of fighting the devastating impact of climate change on this planet we all share. This global initiative will fund scientists, activists, NGOs — any effort that offers a real possibility to help preserve and protect the natural world," Bezos posted on Instagram next to a picture of the planet.

He continued, "We can save Earth. It’s going to take collective action from big companies, small companies, nation-states, global organizations, and individuals. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I’m committing $10 billion to start and will begin issuing grants this summer. Earth is the one thing we all have in common — let’s protect it, together.⁣⁣⁣"

It's a huge commitment, and it is very appreciated by all that live on this planet. But, interestingly the announcement follows very closely behind the story that the 'Amazon' boss purchased the most expensive house in the Los Angeles area for $165 MILLION.

Plus, as we reported, this house comes with its very own gas station!

According to multiple reports, Bezos purchased the home from media mogul David Geffen. The house dubbed 'The Warner Estate' was built by Warner Bros. boss Jack Warner.

The best part of this home is that many will recognize the front of the giant estate because it played home to the Clampett Family of the famous television show, 'The Beverly Hillbillies.'

Just so you understand how massive this estate is...the house is 25,000 sq. ft. comes with 18 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, and a 75-foot swimming pool. Did we mention it has a 12,000 bottle wine cellar and a gas station?

Not that one matters to the other in this case, Jeff Bezos is the richest man on the planet and can afford to do both! His estimated net worth hovers around $131 Billion. Of course, as we reported, recently that number shot up by $13.2 Billion, in a matter of 15 minutes, after his 'Amazon' stock had a huge day on the stock market.

We appreciate it Jeff! Now, make sure we get an invite to the house warming party too!
