Janet Jackson isn’t just a legendary singer and Grammy-winning artist, she’s a mom who’s willing to do anything for her three-year-old son even if that means slinging on an apron and getting down in the kitchen. The “Miss You Much” hitmaker revealed that when her toddler Eissa Al Mana asked for breakfast on Saturday morning, he wanted pancakes but she didn’t make plain old round ones. Janet Jackson revealed she made pancakes into music notes to satisfy the youngster’s sweet tooth.
Posting her yummy creation on Instagram, the “Love Will Never Do” singer displayed tons of eighth note-shaped pancakes soaking in delicious maple syrup. Tagging herself in London, where she’s been self-quarantining amid the coronavirus pandemic, Janet Jackson captioned the snap of her son’s delightful breakfast. “My baby’s requested morning brkfst and now he’s asking for 2nds ?,” the superstar wrote, “back in the kitchen I go ?.” The “Rhythm Nation” singer’s pancakes quickly collected over 83k in just a few hours with another famous mama leaving an adorable comment on Janet Jackson’s breakfast creation.
“So cute ❤️,” Ciara responded on the pancakes to which Janet Jackson wrote back with a hugging face emoji. “Awwww this is just too cute! ?,” one fan commented on her photo. “You’re an amazing mother, Janet. Cute,” wrote another. “Oh she can cook too?” joked someone else. “This is too cute Damita! Sounds like you’re enjoying motherhood! You are truly blessed!” added a fourth. Janet Jackson welcomed her son, Eissa Al Mana, with her Qatari businessman husband, Wissam Al Mana, in January 2017. She gave birth at the age of 50 and announced the news through her publicist. “Janet had a stress-free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably,” the statement said.
Fans first speculated the star was pregnant when she postponed her Unbreakable tour out of nowhere in April 2016. At the time, Janet Jackson tweeted out a video saying, “I thought it was important that you be the first to know, my husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour.” She later appeared in People Magazine confirming the pregnancy. “We thank God for our blessing,” she told the outlet who shared the first photos of her baby bump.
