It sounds like Jada Pinkett Smith might be getting ready to talk about some "healing" at an upcoming Red Table Talk, regarding singer August Alsina's allegations the two had a relationship while she was married to Will Smith. Rumors that Will and Jada had an "open marriage" have been circulating this week.

Pinkett Smith wrote today on Twitter that: "There's some healing that needs to happen…so I'm bringing myself to The Red Table," referring to the Facebook Watch series.

Alsina this week talked to Angela Yee of "The Breakfast Club" about his new album, along with those claims.

Alsina brought up the rumor that he and Jada Pinkett Smith used to date. He also said that Will Smith "gave [Alsina] his blessing," and that the two "had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership that they've spoken on several times and it not involving romanticism."

After all that, Pinkett Smith denied the rumors from Alsina, saying it was "absolutely not true."

Representatives for Will Smith have not returned a request for comment from E! News.

Red Table Talk has provided Pinkett Smith with healing in other ways. Last year in an interview on Lorraine in 2019, Pinkett Smith said: "For me, I think in this day and age there is so much transparency—but what we're actually watching is like—how healthy is it? How is it improving our lives? So, I really felt like having a show that shows communication."

She says speaking out on the show has really helped her get through some rough times in her life.

"Everybody's in a struggle and we're just figuring out, trying to figure out how to do this thing called really, that's what our show is about and really us sharing our own experiences of what we've been through and how we've navigated through struggle."

In the interview on "Lorraine," Pinkett Smith admitted that their family brings up, and talks about, tough subjects together.

"I'm very lucky that I have really difficult, transparent conversations with my family."

She continues:

"We've all been through various things from different generations. I realized, too, Willow didn't really know my story or my mother's story either because we live with people that we think we know and we don't really know them and so that's really how the whole concept was birthed."

Will there be more to the story after she goes on Red Table Talk? We'll have to just wait and see.
