J. Lo Dishes on A-Rod Wedding, Shades Two Ex-Husbands in the Process

By Whitney Vasquez

Jennifer Lopez is serving out major details about her nuptials to Alex Rodriguez, but she's also throwing major shade by dismissing two ex-husbands.

In a behind-the-scenes video from her "It's My Party" tour, J. Lo was asked about her wedding to the MLB star.

Saying their date will be sometime next year, the "Medicine" singer says, "It's been three years now. [We’ll get married] soon, not soon-soon but next year."

Adding this will be a wedding unlike any previous ceremony she's had before.

"I’d like a big wedding. I’d like to get married in a church this time. Never been married in a church," she tells her team.

J. Lo has three ex-husbands under her belt, but in this clip, the musician says she doesn't count two of them.

“I’ve been married three times: once was nine months and once was 11 months. So I don’t really count those,” J. Lo states.

She's referring to her first husband, Ojani Noa, and second, Chris Judd.

That's not the only dig.

J. Lo continues to turn the knife by saying, "I was very young the first two times I tried to get married. I’m saying tried to get married."

One past marriage she still keeps on her scoresheet? Her decade-long one to Marc Anthony.

"I was married to Marc for 10 years with the kids," J. Lo adds.

Giving a reason for so many failed attempts, she says loneliness.

"It seems like in this life you’re always surrounded by people so you’re never lonely but it’s very lonely. So you always want somebody with you," the singer says. "So I felt like if I got married then I would always have somebody but that’s not how life works."

J. Lo adds, "That’s not how it goes, a bad reason to get married. Not the right one, it's the wrong one. The right one is when you find somebody who really makes you better."

J. Lo and A-Rod got engaged in March during a romantic tropical getaway. The dated two years before the MLB stud popped the question.

Her diamond from A-Rod is about 15 carats, according to Alastair Smith, founder of Assuming A-Rod didn't skimp out when it comes to cut, color and clarity, Smith puts the cost of the ring at easily over $1 million.

While A-Rod's rock takes the carat cake, it's not the most expensive ring J. Lo has ever received.

Her engagement ring from Ben Affleck was a 6.1-carat pink diamond from Harry Winston and valued at $2.5 million.

Smith points out that while Affleck's ring was lighter in carat weight, it was way more expensive because it used a rarer pink diamond.

Bennifer never made it down the aisle and J.Lo eventually gave back the ring.

Marc Anthony gave J. Lo an 8.5-carat blue cushion cut diamond which was estimated to cost $4 million.

The two were married from 2004 until their divorce in 2014, but they remain close friends and he's buddies with A-Rod.

Both sides of the family often reunite for activities involving the former couple's two 11-year-old twins -- Emme and Max.
