Iggy Azalea is a proud mama after giving birth to a son! The 30-year-old surprised fans by confirming the news on her Instagram Story after dodging pregnancy rumors for months. Making it clear that she's not hiding her baby from the world, the "Sally Walker" singer insisted "he is not a secret." Fans have been wondering about the baby after reports circulated that not only was she pregnant but gave birth back in April. She had not addressed the rumors until now.

"I have a son," she wrote on Wednesday, June 10. Telling her followers that she "kept waiting for the right time to say something," the singer said she finally realized that "the more time passes the more I realize I'm always going to feel anxious to share the news that giant to the world."

"I want to keep his life private," she continued before stating, "but I wanted to make it clear he is not a secret." Concluding her birth announcement, Iggy Azalea expressed her undying love for her son. "I love him beyond words," she wrote.

The "Fancy" rapper made eyebrows raise after going silent on social media in December. She reemerged in May and shocked fans by showcasing her flat tummy in a crop top. Many followers chalked the sizzling pic to a throwback shot.

Around the time she went silent, Hollywood Unlocked reported the star was six months pregnant with Playboi Carti's baby. Citing a source close to the couple, the outlet did not have any further information regarding the sex of the baby. While the parents did not confirm their son's birth, DJ Akademiks didn't get the memo and basically confirmed it for them.

Taking to Twitter months ago, he tweeted, "Congrats to Iggy Azalea and Playboi Carti on the birth [of] their son this weekend!" When fans questioned him, he responded, "Talked to some ppl…. allegedly this is true. Congrats to #playboicarti and #iggyazalea if it is."
