Idris Elba is revealing he tested positive for Covid 19 and will be staying in isolation.

The actor released a video, with his wife Sabrina Elba, from their home. Elba starts off, “This morning I got some test results back for Coronavirus and it came back positive. And it sucks. Listen, I'm doing okay. Sabrina hasn’t been tested and she’s doing okay.”

He explained, “I didn’t have any symptoms. I got tested because I realized I was exposed to someone who also tested positive. I found out last Friday that they were last Friday. I quarantined myself and got tested immediately.”

He warned, “Look, this is serious. Now is the time to really think about social distancing, washing your hands. There are people out there who aren’t showing symptoms and can easily spread it.”

Elba says, “we’ve told our families; they are very supportive.”

He ended with, “transparency is probably the best thing for this right now. If you’re feeling ill or feel like you should be tested or been exposed, do something about it. It’s really important.”

Fan lost it on Twitter writing, “Nooooooooo, WTF??? Bless Idris! #QuarantineLife.”

“Rona sis, my man who’s not my man but he is my man but he don’t no it yet was not part of the dealFace with raised eyebrowUnamused face,” said one follower.

Another said, “NOT YOU. NOT YOU” and “NOOOOOOOO.”

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were the first celebrities to announce testing positive for Coronavirus.

They released a statement reading, “Hello, folks. Rita and I are down here in Australia. We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive.”

He added, “Well, now. What to do next? The Medical Officials have protocols that must be followed. We Hanks’ will be tested, observed, and isolated for as long as public health and safety requires. Not much more to it than a one-day-at-a-time approach, no? We’ll keep the world posted and updated. Take care of yourselves!” – Tom Hanks”
