The owner of "Hustle & Soul" NYC's eatery Pink Tea Cup says he is having to constantly close down his popular soul food restaurant after the landlord allegedly ruined the building with renovations, and now he's filed suit.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, Chef Lawrence Page says he's been forced to shutter the doors multiple times on his Brooklyn restaurant since March 12 due to the daily dust and debris entering the space because of building renovations.

Page blames the constant loss of business on the landlord for demolition that is allegedly also causing electrical outages and leaking water.

The Pink Tea Cup has been in existence since 1954 and is the featured location for WE tv's "Hustle & Soul" as Page and his crew laugh, fight and make really delicious looking buttermilk fried chicken and waffles. The show is currently in its second season.

Page says that since the renovations began, he has been complaining to the landlord, but the guy allegedly suggested that the reality star close up the restaurant, give up his lease and go on his way. He even claims the landlord offered cash to move out.

Page has finally taken up the landlord on his suggestion and named a price, $2 million in damages for the loss of revenue and inventory.
