Tom Brady is opening up in a big way during his interview with Howard Stern, and the legendary quarterback just revealed his marriage to supermodel, Gisele Bundchen, had major problems including the fact she ‘wasn’t satisfied’ in their relationship.
According to Brady, towards the end of his career with the New England Patriots, Gisele wasn’t happy with Tom putting football and his business before the family. At the time, he says he was leaving the kids and the housework to his wife.
TB said to Stern the supermodel “wasn’t satisfied with our marriage.”
“She didn’t feel I was doing my part for the family,” Brady revealed to Stern. He added, “She felt like I would play football all season and she would take care of the house and all the sudden when the season would end, I would be like, ‘Great, let me get into all my other business activities. Let me get into my football training.'”
Brady revealed during the interview that Gisele grew increasingly upset with the way Tom was acting and he explained it like this, “she’s sitting there going, ‘Well, when are you going to do things for the house? When are you going to take the kids to school and do that?’ And that was a big part of our marriage. I had to, like, check myself. Because she’s like, ‘I have goals and dreams too.'”
At one point, TB says Gisele wrote him a letter explaining how big the problems are in their marriage and her issues with his behavior. The couple participated in therapy to overcome some of the issues, Brady said.
So, Brady says he started skipping Organized To Activities (OTA’s) with his football team to work on his marriage to Gisele. But, Tom made if very clear to Howard that all of the issues with his marriage had since been ironed out and they are good now.
The A-list couple married in 2009 and share two children together. The quarterback also has a 12-year old son with actress Bridget Moynahan.
If you have been living under a rock, the three-time NFL MVP left the New England Patriots after 20 seasons and signed with the Tamba Bay Buccaneers for the 2020-21 seasons. The deal is worth $50 Million.
BTW — While in Flordia, he is living in Derek Jeter’s massive mansion. Yep, it’s going to be that kind of season.
