'Home Alone' Reboot Is Coming To Disney's New Streaming Service

A reboot of the ever-popular holiday film Home Alone will be coming to Disney and its streaming service.

According to Disney CEO Bob Iger, this reboot is a "reimagining" of the kids' classic. There aren't very many other details or specifics, though.

'Night At the Museum,' 'Cheaper By the Dozen' Also On Disney Docket


Home Alone is not the only film Disney is eyeing:

"We are also focused on leveraging Fox's vast library of great titles to further enrich the content mix on our... platforms -- for example, reimagining 'Home Alone,' 'Night at the Museum,' 'Cheaper by the Dozen' and 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' for a new generation on Disney+,"

Disney Streaming Coming In November

The Disney + streaming service will launch in November in the U.S. and is scheduled to cost half of a Netflix subscription. It will also be the only place to watch Star Wars, Disney Animation and Pixar productions.
