But Where Are the Sisters?

There's a Hocus Pocus sequel under development at Disney Plus, which is huge considering the cult following the 1993 film has had.

"Workaholics" co-producer and writer Jen D'Angelo is already tasked with writing the script, but its main stars -- Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker -- have not yet signed on.

The three played witch sisters from Salem, Massachusetts, who have been cursed since 1693. In the movie, they're somehow brought back to life by a boy who's now living in Salem.

People Trying To Wish It Away

So far, reaction to this news has been mixed.

"I’m getting sick and tired of Disney + already," said @CreatorTyree.

"Just Stop," said @MauBoat, while @Dadecoy tweeted "GOAT MOVIE."

Time Will Tell

The sequel should be viewed with a healthy dose of skepticism, since the three main stars aren't even signed on yet.

Some just see Disney as milking every franchise for everything it's worth. "Don’t need it... didn’t ask for it ..." said @TOAST2theBOOGIE.
