“I’ve been trying to reach out for support. Through sharing, talking, crying … moving my body, acupuncture. Today I took myself to a therapist,” she wrote in text overtop of an image of her walking.

“I was nervous … but it felt good to talk about what has happened,” she continued. “I share this with you in hopesthat if you ever want to seek help, I encourage you to make the time. You are worth it.”

She later returned to her Story to add more. "I've been thinking about all of the stories that you all have shared with me and I feel it is important to tell you how many of you think you are more alone in this fertility journey than you actually are.”

Hilaria said people have told hey about the emotions they've felt. "Shame, feeling culpability, fear of looking attention seeking” and “fear of being looked at as ‘broken.’'

“I hope that both you and I can unburden ourselves from these heavy weight emotions,” Hilaria wrote. “Fertility isn’t always something you have or you don’t. The beauty and the challenges of incubating future generations is hard work. And we need to respect our bodies for all their effort.”

Over the Thanksgiving holiday, she share a photo of her and Alec in bed with one of their kids, and she wrote about how thankful she is.

"With the cooking and the cleaning and the kids, the dogs....my thanksgiving family photo got away from me. Now that the food is away and the house is clean, it’s just the three of us awake—way past Carmen’s bedtime. I’m thankful for our first baby. I’m thankful for my three boys," she wrote.

"Thankful for my husband, who through good times and difficult ones is my constant companion. My family and friends—thank you. And our community here: I’m thankful for all of you, who support me in such powerful and endearing ways. Please know that your company means the world."

Alec responded in the comments: "I'm glad I met you..."
