Cardi B's sister, Hennessy Carolina, is being sued for assault and battery after a nasty run-in with beachgoers in Suffolk County, New York over Labor Day Weekend.

According to multiple reports, Hennessy, Cardi B, and her partner model Michele Diaz are all named in the lawsuit after three people claim they were involved in a violent incident with the famous couple while at Smith Point Beach in New York.

Cardi B's sister is being accused of assault, battery, threatening, and defaming the group.

The 'WAP' rapper is also being sued for defamation and civil rights violations, according to the lawyer who filed the case.

“These peaceful Suffolk County residents were quietly enjoying a Sunday at the Smith Point beach with their families, when rap celebrity Hennessy Carolina suddenly approached them, raging, spitting, insulting, assaulting, defaming and threatening them, all the while videotaping them because one of them wore a MAGA hat,” the attorney said.

He continued, “Then Hennessy, Cardi B, and Diaz deviously edited the videotape and published the edited version all over social media, across the world for all to see, and maliciously falsely labeled these residents and their families as ‘N-----s’ and as racists."

The beachgoers attorney says the parties took the threats as 'real' and claims they now live in fear.

“Real threats of harm were made. They live in fear now. Their reputations have been ruined,” the lawyer said.

As for how much the group believes is owed to them following the incident, it's unclear, but the attorney says they are "seeking substantial damages.”

As we reported, Cardi B went off on the group after her sisters and partner returned from the incident, posting audio clips of them describing their interaction with the group.
