Dame Helen Mirren is serious about helping others during this tough time in our country, so much, she was willing to post a picture of herself first thing in the morning for the cause. She is simply amazing!
On Tuesday, Mirren took to Instagram and posted the picture of herself in bed, literally the moment she woke up, fully going all-natural.
“In return for this pic of me literally first thing in the morning, please donate to the intensive care support,” she asked her fans including a link to The Intensive Care Society.
She added, “Thanks so much.”
The charity supports medical professionals on the frontline, as well as the families of patients that have died.
Fans of the legendary actress were PUMPED to see her share a photo like this and are letting her know it inside the comment section of her post.
“You look beautiful, Helen. I am binge-watching your Tennison series and it’s helping me get through these times. (:” one person wrote.
Another added, “You are gorgeous. Consider it done.”
Many agreed with this person’s reaction to the natural look picture, “Beautiful anyway?❤️??.”
The actress recently discussed the meaning of the word “beauty” while at Paris fashion week, saying, “I keep saying we’ve got to find another word for ‘beauty’ — “I think we should start calling it ‘character’ instead of beauty because that’s really what it is.”
She added, “Makeup and hair is one of the most important things for getting into character. I spend many hours in the mirror finding the best ways to get into character, and of course, makeup is a good one. I was being made up today and the makeup artist said something I thought was really interesting: eyebrows are the things that give us character.”
Bottom line: She is stunning either way!
Fans agreed, continuing to post messages about her morning glow, “How are you still adorable even with bedhead?!?” a fan said. “Done, I admire you immensely! And this is just another reason to. :)” another added.
One person even helped her with how to get people to donate, “Gorgeous! Love your work, stay safe and stay put. Put the link in your bio so people can click on it!”
