'Hard Knocks' Premiere Shows Oakland Raiders Get Starstruck Over Guy Fieri

Oakland Raiders minicamp is going down in Napa Valley, CA and being documented by HBO for this season of "Hard Knocks" but the first episode took an unexpected detour to Flavortown.

Guy Fieri made an appearance on the premiere episode that aired on Tuesday night. The Food Network star is a lifelong Raiders fan and owns several restaurants in Las Vegas, where the team is headed next season.

In the episode, offensive lineman Lukayus McNeil spots Fieri but can't quite remember his name.

He attempts to describe Fieri to teammate Richie Incognito, saying, "That one dude who travels around, with the blonde hair, the spikey hair. Travels around and eats food. You know who I'm talking about, on TV?"

"Oh, Guy Fieri," Incognito answers, before adding, "Oh really? Where's he at? That's my guy."


The camera then cuts to Fieri talking to another offensive lineman, Brandon Parker, where the chef asks, "How's full pads feeling? Dude, you guys are animals."

Fieri then said he hoped to cook for the team, as he has in the past, explaining, "We were gonna come out and cook, we'll see if coach lets that clear. We did that a couple of times last year."

Fieri joked about his appeared on "Hard Knocks," tweeting a photo of him made to look like a football coach. He captioned the photo, "Hey @raiders - wanna spice things up for #HardKnocks this year? I’m available if ya need to pickup a Flavor Coordinator
