'Hanson' Brother Seriously Injured In Motorcycle Accident

The youngest member of the singing group 'Hanson' has been seriously injured in a motorcycle accident, resulting in multiple broken bones and being rushed from the scene to a Oklahoma hospital.

Zac Hanson, the 33-year-old youngest of the Hanson brothers, crashed his bike while riding near Tusla, Oklahoma this week.

Hanson took to the band's website to describe the harrowing accident and update their fans on his recovery.

"Wednesday I was involved in a wreck on my motorcycle while preparing for an upcoming cross-country ride, the singer began.

The Hanson brother also described his hospitalization and injuries, saying, "Though I ended up with three broken ribs, a broken collarbone, and a cracked scapula, nothing is injured that won’t heal with a little rest and time, and a healthy dose of gaming!"

The singer went on to thank his brothers and emergency crews, who arrived on the scene of the crash for helping him.

"Thankfully with good quality protective gear, I was able to walk away, even if very slowly with the help of Isaac, Taylor, and a few of a Tulsa’s first responders."

At this point, its unclear what caused the accident, or if he was at fault for the crash.

Hanson says he will be replaced as drummer during an upcoming tour stops, but will sing with the band.

Hanson is the youngest of three brothers who performed as a band in the early 1990s. The band is best-known for its smash hit "MMMBop."
