Another day, another terrifying piece of marketing to get us excited for the new 'Halloween' movie. The official trailer has premiered, and it has us more than ready for a Laurie Stroder and Michael Myers showdown.
The new spot was revealed on Halloween's official Twitter Wednesday morning, and it has all the trappings of a well-crafted horror flick.
Not to mention, Jamie Lee Curtis is more of a bad-ass than ever before.
Taking place 40 years after the original 1978 John Carpenter masterpiece, the trailer shows a slightly older Laurie Strode preparing for a certain masked murderer to eventually escape from his psychiatric hospital.
The horror film will definitely be full of jump scares and brutal slayings — both of which will came to fruition thanks to screenwriters Danny McBride and Jeff Fradley. It's also worth noting the homage to the OG flick with the one long-shot camera angle.
The new flick, directed by David Green (who was also one of the writers), will rack up the bodies when it hits theaters on October 19.
