Halle Berry is back in action on the set of her MMA film “Bruised”, only days after production shut down after the actress suffered an injury.

Berry shared behind-the-scenes photos on her social media of her first day back. In the post, Berry wrote, “Swinging into some late night shenanigans at @theoceanac - loving my time here, thank you for hosting us! ✨ #BruisedTheMovie.”

The actress posted another shot while filming inside a hotel room. Berry is shooting the film in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The snap is the first time we’ve seen Berry back on set since suffering an injury during a fight scene.

The incident went down last week and was confirmed by the film’s executive producer, Brian Pitt. He said, “Halle got slightly injured in the fight.” He added, “She’s tired. She needed a break.”

“Occasionally what’s going to happen is an actor might get a little injured, and we might adjust scheduling around them a little bit.", said the producer.

The actress wrote on social media following the incident, “Thank you to all the folks that have showered me with love since my injury. It’s par for the course when you do your own stunts, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Just know I’m far from tired. I’m wide awake...and just getting started! 💪🏽🙏🏽 #BruisedTheMovie.

In “Bruised”, Halle plays Jackie an MMA fighter who fights under the name, "Justice." Her character is going through a hard time and has to get her life back together so she can regain custody of her young son.

She’s been stoked about the role saying, "It’s a movie about a woman who once had a promising MMA career, she was going up the ranks of the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship), and then something unthinkable happened that derailed her career, and we find her five years later, and she has to make her way back. It’s a movie I’m extremely passionate about. It has a wonderful message. I think it’s a message that women need to hear."

Berry has been training like crazy for the role. The actress recently showed off her rock hard abs.She wrote, “Happy #FitnessFriday, everyone! There’s no better feeling than setting a goal and smashing it. One of my goals for #BruisedTheMovie? Ripped Abs - and today? I finally got them, and it feels unbelievable! This #FitnessFriday, I encourage you guys to set your bar. What is your fitness goal?”
