Only Gwyneth Paltrow could get sued for an alleged hit-and-run accident ... on skis.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a lawsuit was filed on Tuesday by a man in Utah who claims the actress crashed into him while skiing,
Terry Sanderson claims that on February 26, 2016, Paltrow was "out of control" and "was skiing too fast for her ability on a beginner run." He claims she slammed into him from behind, "knocking him down hard, knocking him out, and causing a brain injury, four broken ribs and other serious injuries."
He claims that rather than apologize or acknowledge the collision in any way, "Paltrow got up, turned and skied away, leaving Sanderson stunned, lying in the snow."
Sanderson also alleges that a ski instructor blamed him for the crash and "failed to send help, as he was obligated to do, and later filed a false report to protect his client."
The lawsuit names Paltrow, the instructor, the Deer Valley Resort Company and two unnamed employees as defendants.
He is suing for damages and attorneys' fees.
A rep for Gwyneth Paltrow told Fox News, "This lawsuit is completely without merit and we expect to be vindicated."
