Gwen Stefani is adamant she was not at fault for a woman getting injured during one of her concerts, insisting the lady was just a casualty of a stampeding crowd.
Stefani's legal team is responding to a lawsuit filed by Lisa Stricklin, who claimed the No Doubt singer is to blame for her getting trampled at the PNC Pavilion in Charlotte, NC last year.
During the show, Stefani caused a rush of people to the stage when she announced, "Just fill in anywhere you like! Who cares about your lawn chairs? You can get new ones!"
According to the docs, Stefani says she owed no duty to make sure Stricklin was safe at the concert and blames the injuries on the acts of the other people.
Stefani is seeking to get the lawsuit and claim for $75,000 by Stricklin tossed.
