Is Hunnam the right man to take up the mantle as the defender of Star City?
With the DC Universe having its fair share of hits and misses lately -- more Wonder Woman and Shazam!, less Suicide Squad and Batman Vs. Superman, please -- it's safe to say that it will be interesting to see what the superhero powerhouse has up its sleeve for the not so distant future.
There are still a number of projects that haven't been officially greenlit and fans are constantly speculating about which characters will get their time to shine next.
One of the characters mentioned the most in future projects is Oliver Queen a.k.a. the Green Arrow. While the character has been defending Star City over on the CW's Arrow for seven seasons (and set to wrap with its eighth), DC fans are curious if its time for the character to make the jump to the big screen.
When fancasting and speculation ramps up, Sons Of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam is often brought up as the obvious choice for a big screen Queen. Hunnam has tried his hand at action films like Pacific Rim and King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword, but has so far avoided the superhero genre.
However, in recent interviews, he has been more receptive to potentially donning a cape and tights.
Hunnam even looks a lot like the comic version of Oliver Queen, so it's not a stretch to consider him for the part, should a Green Arrow film come to fruition.
What do you think? Are you ready to see Charlie Hunnam finally playing a superhero? Or do you think there's a better fit for the job?
