In the selfie, Jameela Jamil highlighted her imperfections and wrote "love every inch" on the snap. She paired the unedited photo with her own viral challenge, labeling it the "Instagram reality challenge." Explaining she's gotten lots of DMs "about body image s---," and seen "toxic influencers" posting airbrushing photos, as well as people freaking out "about their weight gain from no exercise and dietary changes," the actress said she's done with all the negativity regarding everyone's lack of confidence when it comes to their bodies.

Getting real with her fans, Jameela Jamil continued, "Listen, try to just love your body for what it does, not for how it looks. Loving how it looks is too hard for some who need to unlearn all their self-hatred." Calling her body an "amazing machine," the star told her followers, "Even if it doesn’t work in all the ways you wish it would. Love what it can do." Reminding her fans that even thin actresses "are covered in lumps and bumps and stretch marks," Jameela Jamil added, "You just forget that because of bulls--- airbrushing." Ending her lengthy message, she wrote, "Don’t worry about losing weight right now in this moment... just survive."
