Gervonta Davis’ ex-girlfriend Dretta Starr is back on social media for the first time since the fighter was arrested for alleged domestic violence.

Dretta posted the first photo of herself since Gervonta was charged . She is seen looking flossy in brown fur coat with baseball cap, diamond watch and Chanel bag.

She captioned the photo with a Drake lyric from his track “Life is good.” Dretta wrote, “Ni--as caught me slipping once ok, so what?” Dretta and Gervonta share a daughter named Gervanni Davis.

Dretta’s return to social media comes weeks after Gervonta turned himself in to Florida police. The situation started when a video went viral of the fighter and his baby mama at a charity basketball game.

In the video, Gervonta is seen approaching his ex and grabbing her by the neck. He proceeds to pull his ex out of the chair and to the back of the venue. After the video went viral, Gervonta wrote on social media, “I never once hit her, yea I was aggressive and told her come on... that's the mother of my child I would never hurt her other than that happy New Years.. January was trash."

Back in February, the fighter turned himself into Coral Gables Police Department and was arrested on a misdemeanor simple battery domestic violence charge.

Upon his release from jail, Gervonta was ordered to stay away from Dretta and not contact his ex. He entered a plea of not guilty to the charge. He is scheduled to appear in court on March 3.

According to the police report, officers obtained surveillance footage that allegedly shows Gervonta striking his ex in the face. He reportedly can be seen dragging her to another woman with his hand close to her throat.

The video allegedly shows him, "pulling his arm back and then forward towards the victim, which is consistent with a strike to the face where the victim sustained injuries to her lip and left jaw."

Davis’ ex cooperated with the police in the investigation.
