Gabrielle Union is receiving support from another leading lady of television, Ellen Pompeo, who says a simple way of dealing with this issue if for everyone to simply stop watching 'America's Got Talent.'
The 'Grey's Anatomy' star took to Twitter on Thanksgiving to show support to Union after she was fired from 'AGT.'
As we reported, issues with race and mistreatment of the staff have bubbled up during the move to get fire Union.
"Workplace cultures will continue to be toxic until there is unity and solidarity among all women. If you go for self in these moments you undermine the work we are out here trying to do. Obviously this network feels like they can operate like this and it’s okay," Pompeo tweeted.
Using the power of her fanbase and voice, Pompeo had a simple solution for dealing with 'America's Got Talent' -- just stop watching it. Plus, she has a suggestion of what you should be tuning in for...
"With that said GIRLS....instead of wack jugglers and messy Simon Cowell watch @ReeseW and Jennifer Anniston in The Morning Show!! Soooo much better. Hard to believe these networks are still getting away with this. Our work continues @itsgabrielleu," Ellen said.

Pompeo has experience with issues on such a huge television show's production set, as she claims there were issues on the 'Grey's Anatomy' set too.
"Also I feel important to mention our problems on the Greys set and every set has them...some kind of issue ...there’s lots of people in a workplace.. point is... exec producers and the NETWORK @abc cared enough to help us make change support is crucial," she tweeted.
It is clear, she is putting the issues share in the lap of NBC, and showing support to her network for actually stepping in and dealing with the issues.

Pompeo ended with a clear message, Oh and Happy Thanksgiving Thankful for all the women out there who refuse to put up with bullshit."
Fans agreed, showing huge support to Ellen and Union on social media. "putting women against women. They feel as if they’ve done their idol/inspiration a favor if they have “supported” them by bringing another woman in the industry down. So sad to read on here sometimes Exactly, I think it’s safe to say that every workplace has problems at some point. What’s important is that upper management is supportive and encourages positive change," one person wrote.
Another fan applauded ABC for doing the right thing on 'Grey's Anatomy', "So proud of ABC for acknowledging that there was a problem and making a change. Not many are willing to do that nowadays," read a tweet.
Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough who replaced Mel B and Heidi Klum as judges on 'America's Got Talent' were fired from the show earlier this week.
Reports surfaced following the shakeup that Union' exit came after she spoke out against the racism and sexism that she witnessed during her time on 'AGT.'
"[Gabrielle’s] contract was not renewed after being the #1 talent on the show, NBC and network TV. She set the record for her Golden Buzzer. They only replace the women and blacks at Simon’s whim," one report said.
Simon Cowell seemed to be fully behind switching out the panel.
“It wasn’t like it wasn’t working. Everyone who’s been on the show over the years, judge or host, has done a brilliant job. It’s just one of those shows where I think occasionally they just like to rotate the panel," Simon told USA Today.
Cowell publically seemed to be a fan of union saying, "With Gabrielle, we spent a couple of hours talking and I really connected with her. She wants to do the show for the right reasons. She’s very interested in the process for discovering talent."
Dwayne Wade supported his wife by posting a message on Instagram saying, “Men lie, Women lie, numbers don’t” Over this past year I’ve been approached by many people saying that my wife @itsgabrielleu is the main reason they’ve started watching #AGT or that they love her insight and sincerity on the show."
He continued, “So when i got the news that my wife was being fired—my first question was obviously why!? Iam still waiting on a good answer to that question. But if anyone knows @itsgabrielleu or have heard of her you know she’s an advocate for our community and culture.”
He explained that standing up for a cause is more important than any specific job.
“As proud as I were of her being selected as a judge on #AGT— I am even more proud of her standing up for what she stands for and that’s US,” he added.
He ended with this, “So ? to you @itsgabrielleu on not losing sight of the lessons we’ve talked about teaching our daughter and for kicking ass while you were on that platform. Number 1 judge on one of the biggest shows in the world‼️.”
