G-Eazy's got a new tattoo and this one commemorates the life of Kobe Bryant. "The Beautiful & Damned" rapper is the latest star to get fresh ink for the late Laker's star after his tragic death on January 26. Halsey's ex-boyfriend, who hails from the Bay Area and is a diehard Golden State Warriors fan, put his NBA differences aside to pay tribute to Kobe Bryant. Taking to his social media on Wednesday night, the 30-year-old rapper showcased the tattoo session with a series of photos including one of the finished product.

Posting several black and white snaps from the tattoo appointment, G-Eazy flashed a smile during the ink session. The "No Limit" rapper got Kobe Bryant's jersey numbers, 8 and 24, in block letters that are permanently placed on his left shoulder. "Mamba forever," G-Eazy captioned the series of photos while including the pray hand emoji. Fans are loving his tribute to the NBA legend and within hours his post collected over 260k likes with fans flooding his comment section knowing the tattoo was out of respect as opposed to Lakers fandom.

"This is so pure ??," stated one fan. "I am literally in love w you for doing this," added another. "Legends never die ?," stated a third. G-Eazy joins several other celebrities who have all inked a tribute to Kobe Bryant following the sudden helicopter crash that claimed his life, as well as 8 others including his 13-year-old daughter, Gigi. Fellow NBA legend LeBron Jamesdebuted a tattoo for Kobe which included a snake, which is a reference to his nickname "Black Mamba." The serpent also has Kobe Bryant's two jersey numbers, 8 and 24, along with roses and the words “Mamba 4 Life” written below the reptile in black cursive.

Other's stars who got tattoos for the late basketball legend include rappers The Game and 2 Chainz. Kobe Bryant's sister also recently unveiled the fresh ink she got for her brother and niece. Celebrities flooded into the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 24 for Kobe Bryant and Gigi's celebration of life. The memorial included performances by Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera, and Alicia Keys. Kobe's widow Vanessa Bryant took the stage and gave a heartwarming speech about her husband and teenage daughter leaving no dry eye in the house.
