The creator behind the iconic sitcom “Friends” has shut down any hope of a show reboot or cast reunion.
Over the weekend, show co-creator, Marta Kauffman, was speaking at a “Friends” 25th anniversary panel. The event went down at the Tribeca TV Festival in Manhattan.
Deadline reports, Kauffman was very adamant when asked about the possibility of a reboot or reunion. Fans have been pressing for the cast reuniting for years.
The original cast includes Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc. The show last from 1994 until 2004.
During the panel, Kauffman said, ““We will not be doing a reunion show, we will not be doing a reboot. The show was about that time in life when friends are your family.”
