French Montana is accused of harboring an attack dog that went after a guy installing security cameras, and the alleged victim claims the rapper should have known his dog was a ticking time bomb.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, Daniel Banuelos claims he was installing a security-camera system at French's Calabasas home on August 22, 2017 when the incident went down.

Banuelos claims that while doing his job, French's dog, Zane, "violently attacked and viciously" bit him.

The lawsuit states that the dog was "vicious" and that French was well aware of the dog's nature.

He says the dog was kept for the purposes of "guarding the premise," and that French "encouraged the dog's aggressive and vicious nature in order to make the dog a greater risk and threat to intruders."

Knowing that his dog was allegedly violent, Banuelos says French failed to "leash, tether, chain, muzzle" or take any other safety measures to ensure the dog didn't attack anyone.

As a result of the attack, Banuelos says he missed time from work and suffered permanent scarring. He also says he know has "severe and permanent mental, emotional and psychological injuries."

He's suing for negligence and wants to collect damages from the "Coke Boyz" rapper over the incident.

It's not the first time French has faced legal issues over his German Shepherd, as he was also sued last year over an alleged dog bite that occurred in May 2017 ... 3 months after Banuelos claims he was attacked.

In that instance, a pool guy claims he was attacked by the dog while performing his regular duties.

It's unclear if French even has the dog anymore, as he has featured a new pup on his IG lately ... a fluffy friend named Champ.
