French Montana Passes the Blame for Alleged Dog Attack

By Daniel Goldblatt

French Montana is denying any responsibility for an alleged dog attack at his home last year and instead wants to pass the blame onto the employer of the guy who was allegedly bitten.

The rapper was sued last year by a guy who claimed he showed up at French's home on May 25, 2017 to do some work on his pool. The man claims French's German Shepard attacked him, so he sued.

It's been almost a year since the lawsuit was filed and French is only now responding.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, French is denying all of the allegations against him. As part of his denial, he claims the statute of limitations on the guy's complaint had run out.

He also argues that "the damages and injuries sustained by Plaintiff did not arise from circumstances reasonably foreseeable to Defendant and were not within his reasonable ability to control."

This is not the only dog attack lawsuit French Montana is currently facing.

As The Blast first reported, French was sued last month by a guy who claims he was attacked by the rapper's dog while he was installing a security-camera system at French's Calabasas home on August 22, 2017.

The guy claims French's dog was kept for the purposes of "guarding the premise" and that French "encouraged the dog's aggressive and vicious nature in order to make the dog a greater risk and threat to intruders."

That lawsuit is ongoing as well.
