Frank Ocean is calling his former music producer a liar for alleging he co-wrote the majority of songs on the singer’s latest album, "Blonde."

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Ocean is demanding the lawsuit filed against him by music producer Om'Mas be thrown out. Ocean denies he ever entered into a deal to list Om'Mas as co-writer of songs from his hit 2016 album.

Ocean says when he originally sent a deal agreement to Om’Mas, the producer refused to sign it. The singer says despite Om'Mas not co-writing any of the songs, he continues to demand profits.

As The Blast previously reported, Om’Mas first sued Ocean seeking to get the writing credit he felt he deserved on "Blonde."

He accused Ocean of never getting his permission to release the songs and says the singer’s conduct is causing him enormous and irreparable harm. He says he has not received any royalties for his alleged work on the album.

Om’Mas is seeking unspecified damages and a court order stating he is the true co-writer of the songs in question.

Frank Ocean counter-sued earlier this year, accusing Om’Mas of wrongfully taking credit for his music. Ocean said he paid the producer a flat rate for his work on his album.

However, he claimed the producer was trying to get credit for co-writing 11 songs on "Blonde" by registering with ASCAP as co-writer for the tracks. The singer was adamant the producer didn’t write the lyrics, melody or music for his songs.

He sued demanding a court order to block Om’Mas from having songwriting credit for tracks he didn’t work on.

The case is still ongoing.
