Floyd Mayweather is still reeling from the death of his baby mama and now, one week later, his uncle's passing has added to his pain. Roger Mayweather, a former boxer who helped mold Floyd into the fighter he is today, has died at the age of 58. While Roger's nephew has yet to post anything on social media about his passing, his reps confirmed his death to TheWrap on Tuesday. Roger Mayweather's cause of death has not been made public, but several outlets report his health had been declining for some time.

Years ago, Floyd Mayweather talked about how boxing had taken a toll on his uncle's health. “My uncle Roger Mayweather has lost a lot of memory from the sport of boxing,” he said during an interview with FightHype.com in 2015. “He’s only in his 50’s, but it seems like he’s an old man in his 80’s…boxing is wear and tear on the body.” Roger Mayweather was a professional boxer in the '80s and '90s. He retired and trained Floyd Mayweather after Floyd fired his father, Floyd Mayweather Sr., as his trainer and manager in 2000.

Sadly, news of Roger Mayweather's passing comes just one week after Floyd Mayweather's baby mama Josie Harris' unexpected death. As The Blast reported, she was found dead in her car outside of her home in Valencia, CA on Tuesday, March 10. Josie Harris's cause of death is still unknown. According to reports, there were no drugs found at the scene and officials did not find a suicide note. The autopsy has yet to be completed and a toxicology test will most likely have to be done.

Floyd Mayweather broke his silence over Josie Harris' death last Friday paying tribute by sharing several throwbacks with the mother of three of his children. Keeping it short but sweet, Floyd Mayweather shared more than 10 separate posts of his late ex. In one photo, a young Floyd Mayweather is seen smiling and embracing Josie Harris. "My Angel," he captioned the loving snap. He proceeded to post several other pics of their life together and called her things like "My Love," My Sunshine," "My Sweetheart," "My Friend," and "My Rock." The duo shared three kids, sons Koraun, 20, and Zion, 18, as well as 15-year-old daughter Jirah.
