Floyd Mayweather will be allowed to seek damages from his ex-girlfriend Shantel Jackson for her allegedly recording their conversations.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a Los Angeles judge has granted Mayweather’s motion seeking to amend his lawsuit against Jackson.
Mayweather claimed to have only recently found out that Jackson made recordings of them talking, and wanted to add those allegations to his ongoing lawsuit with her.
A judge saw things Mayweather’s way and is allowing him to now add those claims.
A trial date was set for July 17, but that has been taken off calendar to allow both to continue to prepare their cases. A new date has yet to be set.
