Floyd Mayweather’s baby mama Josie Harris’ cause of death is unknown with officials finding no drugs at the scene of her death.

According to reports, authorities say there was no evidence of drugs or suicide at the scene. Officials didn’t find a suicide note written by Harris. The autopsy has yet to be completed to determine the cause of death. A toxicology test will most likely have to be done.

Earlier this month, Harris was found dead at her home in Valencia, California. She was found dead unresponsive in her car. One of her kids found her in the vehicle in front of their property.

Mayweather posted a tribute to the mother of three of his children on social media. He posted throwback photos of the two captioned, “My Baby.”

As The Blast first reported, Harris was in the middle of a $20 million court battle with Mayweather before her death. The two were scheduled to face off at trial on December 7, 2020.

In 2015, Harris sued Mayweather for $20 million accusing him of lying about her in an interview with Katie Couric. During the sit-down, Mayweather claimed Harris was high on drugs during a 2010 domestic violence incident. Mayweather was arrested following the incident and sentenced to two months behind bars.

In the lawsuit, Harris accused Mayweather of lying and claimed the evidence showed he viciously abused her. At one point in the case, she scored a huge victory with an appellate court siding with her allowing the case to move forward.

The court found, “Since this evidence is unequivocally at odds with the assertion that Mayweather was simply restraining a drug-addled Harris by only twisting her arm, it may reasonably be inferred that Mayweather acted with malice or reckless disregard of the truth during the Couric interview."

The case will only move forward if the person put in charge of Harris’ estate decides to pursue the claims against Mayweather.

Mayweather’s other ex, Melissia Rene, posted about Harris’ death with a touching tribute. Rene is mother to Mayweather’s daughter YaYa.

She wrote, “This one hurt ?.... I’m typing this with tears in my eyes ? Josie I want you to know you’ve done such a great job with the kids. You’ve always loved YaYa like she was one of your own. I’ll never forget the last message you sent YaYa about us coming to visit you. You have my word to always be there for the kids if they need ANYTHING. My heart hurts for the kids right now, but I know you will watch over & protect them. May God bless your soul RIP #josielharris ???♥️”
