“Flipping Out” star Jeff Lewis is accused of refusing to pay up on $125,000 his ex-boyfriend Gage Edward allegedly loaned him.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Gage is suing the reality star for $125,000. The lawsuit accuses Lewis of breach of oral contract that they allegedly reached in December 2018.

The suit reads, “Plaintiff is monetarily at a loss for $125,000 because Defendant is not recognizing the oral agreement between the two parties and failed to repay Plaintiff the money owed.”

Edward claims Lewis “ran short of money for real estate projects and his business” in 2016. The suit says Lewis, “was making an attempt to finish a project in Sherman Oaks, to secure financing on the build to replenish his cash.”

Edward says Lewis asked him to sell a vehicle that he owned debt free, Edward agreed to sell his car back to the deal to secure liquidity and “then loaned” Lewis $125,000. Lewis was to pay interest on the loan.

Lewis eventually paid Edward $50,000 (which was $25k on the principal and $25k in interest). However, Lewis needed more money in 2018. Edward says Lewis asked for another $50,000 and he obliged. Lewis paid off another $25,000 in December 2019.

Edward says Lewis asked for a payment plan in February 2019. They worked out a schedule but Lewis allegedly failed to make any payments.

He is suing Lewis for $125,000 in damages.

Lewis and Edward are currently battling it out in a separate custody battle over their daughter Monroe. The two are still fighting in court.

The two both were defendants in a nasty court battle with their surrogate which was eventually dropped.

Following the split, the reality star sold off the Hollywood Hills mansion they shared while together. He was able to unload the property for $5.8 million.
