The former "Desperate Housewives" star is already serving her 14-day sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, CA and must perform 250 hours of community service upon her release.

The sentence was handed down last month by U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani, who said, "I don’t think anyone wants to go to prison," and added, "I do think this is the right thing here. I think without this sentence you would be looking at a future with a community around you asking how you got away with this."

Huffman pleaded guilty back in May to conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud.

At the time, she also apologized to her husband, "Shameless" star William H. Macy, as well as the rest of her family and said, "I take full responsibility of my actions and making amends with my crime ... I will deserve whatever punishment you give me."
