Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown has been growing up in the public eye for the last few years, and while she faced some backlash over a bogus skincare video and a weird friendship with Drake, she has managed to do so with quite a bit of grace.

However, as is often the case with child stars, she has been sexualized from a very early age. In the comments of a new post on Brown's Instagram, Paris Hilton left her trademark "that's hot," which many thought was inappropriate due to the fact that Brown is so young.

One of the people who responded was Westworld actress Evan Rachel Wood who replied "she's 15."

Wood has been in the industry for a long time, and has been open about the struggles of being a child actor. She explained on Backstage’s In the Envelope awards podcast last year that child stars face a unique battle.

"If you push somebody out on the spotlight too early and they don’t know who they are and they’re a kid, then they’re going to be told what to do and who to be.... There’s a reason why so many child stars have these little breakdowns."

"You’re raised in this adult world, but you’re also told not to be an adult, but you have to act like one, but you’re not one. So it’s this weird kind of push and pull of, ‘Don’t grow up too fast. But grow up immediately!’"

"People love to judge and people love a child star gone off of the rails. But it’s really sad and it’s more than you’ve bargained for most of the time."

So, yeah. She would know. Listen to Wood and stop being creepy about very young performers.
