Actor Henry Thomas, who is best known for his role as a the kid who finds the adorable alien in E.T., who also stars in “The Haunting Of Hill House,” was arrested and charged with driving under the influence in Oregon.

Fox News writes that the Tualatin Police Department in Oregon says Thomas was arrested Monday after reports of a car that was parked in a travel lane. Police say when they got there they found Thomas, 48, passed out in the driver’s seat.

TMZ reports that Thomas had to be woken up by police before they could do anything. They allegedly noticed signs that Thomas was intoxicated, and then brought him to Washington County Jail.
There, he was charged with a misdemeanor DUI, according to Jennifer Massey, a public information officer for the Tualatin Police Department.
